The Azerbaijani State Securities Committee registered an emission of ordinary registered shares at Unibank today. The shares amount to 11.592 million manat.
Roughly 5.796 million shares were issued, each with a par value of two manat.
The bank's authorized capital stock hit 30 million manat. Its joint capital reached 59.46 million manat in 2009.
Unibank was the first Azerbaijani bank. Its shareholders include institutional investors such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the German Investment Corporation. They own 15.2 and 8.3 percent shares, respectively.
