Georgia works to fulfill privatization plan

The Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry sold objects worth 97.9 million lari over the first seven months of this year.

According to the agency, about 61.9 million lari have already accumulated in the state budget, and 36 million lari are expected to be directed to the treasury.

The ministry must still sell objects worth 72.1 million lari to carry out this year's privatization plan.

The ministry sold a former Batumi oil refinery for $15 million yesterday.
