According to the Georgian State Statistics Committee, Georgia exported 4,567 tons of fruit and vegetable juice worth $3.8 million in the first six months of this year.
The juice was exported to 18 countries.
The top 10 importing countries were Germany ($2.276 million), Turkey ($478,000), Greece ($414,000), the United States ($252,000), Australia -($133,000), Taiwan (Chinese Province) ($52,000), Hungary ($30,000), Israel ($25,000), Belarus ($24,000) and Poland ($24,000).
Exports exceeded imports by 37 percent. During this period, fruit and vegetable juices were imported to Georgia from 24 countries worth $1.4 million. The volume totaled 1,504 tons.
