The Azerbaijani Tax Ministry uncovered violations by 3,933 taxpayers in September, the Tax Ministry said.
Some 1,026 taxpayers violated cash payment procedures during the reporting period. Some 150 received foreign currency as payment. Roughly 675 taxpayers operated without having been registered by the tax authorities, and 441 taxpayers worked without the required special licenses.
Additionally, 221 physical entities were involved in employment activities without contracts under the operational control of 179 taxpayers. Some 143 taxpayers carried out passenger transportation without a distinctive mark.
In order to control use of excise stamps, 847 units of goods worth 1,892.7 manat without appropriate marking were uncovered in 60 taxpayers.
