Minister: Azerbaijan to fully execute state budget revenues as of 2010

According to preliminary data, the state budget revenues for nine months of 2010, were executed at 93.6 percent and amounted to 7.504 billion manat, Samir Sharifov, Finance Minister, said at a meeting of parliamentary committees to discuss the draft state budget for 2011.

According to preliminary data, the state budget revenues for nine months of 2010, were executed at 93.6 percent and amounted to 7.504 billion manat, Samir Sharifov, Finance Minister, said at a meeting of parliamentary committees to discuss the draft state budget for 2011.

"The revenues of the state budget increased by 3.7 percent or 269.5 million manat compared to the same period of last year, Sharifov said.

He said that the state budget expenditures were executed by 84 percent, amounting to 6.837 billion manat for January-September. The expenditure budget increased by 5.9 percent, or 379.8 million manat, compared to the same period of 2009.

The minister said that the budget revenues as of 2010 will be executed by 100 percent and expenditure - 97 percent.

According to the amendments to the 2010 budget projections, the revenues were increased by 1.49 billion manat up to 11.505 billion manat. Budget expenditures were increased by 1.11 billion manat and hit 12.275 billion manat.

As a result of the amendments, the budget deficit was reduced from 1.249 billion to 770.3 million manat. It means a reduction in state deficit from 3,9 percent to 2,3 percent of GDP.

On Oct. 11, the official exchange rate is 0.802 manat to $1.
