Iranian Commerce Minister visits Thailand
Iran's Commerce Minister Mehdi Ghazanfari visited Thailand. The goal of the visit is to attend the eighth meeting of the Joint Economic Commission of Iran and Thailand, Iranian MEHR news agency reported.
During the visit, Ghazanfari held discussions with officials of Thailand on the development of bilateral relations.
According to statistics for 2009, trade turnover between the two countries totaled $1,111 billion. Iran mainly exports steel, iron, chemicals, fish and seafood, medicines and fruits to Thailand.
Companies from Thailand operate in Iran in the sphere of fishery.
