Kazakhstan ready to help Turkic-speaking countries access Customs Union

Kazakhstan has offered to help the businesses in Turkic-speaking countries to reach the markets of Customs Union member countries, Kazakh Economic Development and Trade Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev said on Tuesday.

"Through Kazakhstan Turkic-speaking countries can get access on favorable terms to the markets of member countries of the Customs Union. We invite entrepreneurs in the fields of agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, construction, tourism," Sagintayev said.

He said Kazakhstan has created favorable conditions for foreign investors, who can work in nine special economic zones.

"In addition, a favorable geographical position of Kazakhstan creates favorable conditions for trade development in the region. We look forward to further strengthening of economic ties between the member countries of the Council, and this structure should play a major role in their expansion," Sagintayev said.
