The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is not going to sell its stake in local insurance company Atesgah, SOCAR Vice President on Economic Issues Suleyman Gasimov told Trend on Friday.
Earlier SOCAR started the process of transferring its non-core assets to the relevant structures.
"The sale of shares in Atesgah was not discussed," Gasimov said.
The Atesgah Company, established in December 1996, has five offices in Baku and six regional offices throughout Azerbaijan.
Shareholders are ISR Holding (63 per cent), RANEXIM (27 per cent) and SOCAR (10 per cent).
