Today the central office of the KazMunaiTeniz (KMT) Offshore Oil Company relocated from Astana to Aktau, the press service of KazMunaiTeniz told Trend on Monday.
"On October 19, 2012 the board of directors of KazMunaiGas decided to change the location of its KazMunaiTeniz subsidiary. The redeployment of the central office from Astana to Aktau is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the management of marine projects in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, as well as to optimisation of the activities and management of KazMunaiGas," the press service explained.
It is expected that the location of the central office of KazMunaiTeniz directly in the region of the offshore oil and gas operations will significantly speed up the process of making operational decisions and will have a positive economic effect.
The central office of KMT will be located at Aktau, md. 14, Aktau Star Business Center.
