Kazakhstan increased raw and semi-finished gold and gold power production by 6.6 percent to 33.01 tons in January-October 2012, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to the Kazakh Statistics Agency.
Refined gold production in the reporting period hit 17.392 tons (25.4 percent increase compared to the same period of 2011).
Raw, semi-finished and powder silver production in the reporting period hit 795.399 tons (48.3 percent increase compared to the same period of 2011). Refined silver production hit 791.070 tons (48.3 percent increase).
Refined raw, unalloyed copper production in the reporting period amounted to 301.454 tons (8.5 percent increase), raw zinc production amounted to 265.712 tons (0.3 percent decrease).
