An Economic Council has been created in Georgia at the initiative of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. The first meeting of the Economic Council took place on Dec.4, the prime minister's press service said on Dec.5.
The Council includes 12 members. Ministers of the economic group, head of Georgian Partnership Fund, director general of Georgian Railway JSC, head of the country's Co-investment Fund, business ombudsman and others are among those members, the press-service said.
During the first meeting of the council, the current issues and prospects for development of Georgia's economic sphere were considered.
