Demirbank has announced a new appointment in the management.
Samira Shiraliyeva was appointed director general of Azerbaijani Demirbank, a message posted on the bank's website said.
"Earlier, Shiraliyeva has served as the head of Demirbank's operations department since 2013," the message said. "Shiraliyeva has been working in the banking sector since 2005."
According to the message, among three directors general of the bank are Mardan Shikhaliyev, Ogtay Aliyev and Samira Shiraliyeva.
DemirBank, the first commercial bank of Azerbaijan, started to operate in 1989.
Such major international financial organizations as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Netherlands Development Finance Company are among its shareholders.
