Volume of cash in circulation continues to grow in Azerbaijan

The indicator of cash money supply in circulation (M0) amounted to 6.15 billion manats in Azerbaijan in March 2017 that is by 22.3 percent more than in the same month of 2016, according to a report of the country’s Central Bank (CBA).

The report says that the M0 indicator rose by 3.6 percent as compared to February 2017.

Meanwhile, Transaction Money (M1) increased by 19.2 percent during the year and by 2.1 percent – up to 8.41 million manats as compared to February 2017.

Broad Money Supply (M3) amounted to 19.9 billion manats in March 2017 that is by 3.6 percent less than in the same period of 2016, and by 1.2 percent less than in February 2017.
