Uzbek-Chinese Joint Venture “Modern Lift Systems” has established production of modern elevators and escalators in Guliston (Sirdaryo region), UzDaily.uz news website reported.
The production capacity of “Modern Lift Systems” is 300 elevators, as well as 200 escalators and travelators per year. Next year, the production capacity of the enterprise will increase threefold.
The cost of the project is $5 million, 90 percent of which accounts for foreign investments.
Accessories for elevators, escalators and travelators are imported from China for now. The major part of the products is delivered to the domestic market, and 30 percent is exported.
