The value of construction works in Kazakhstan amounted to 2.9 billion tenge in January-November 2017, which is 0.3 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
The biggest value of work in the mentioned period accounts for the construction of highways and roads (665.1 million tenge), engineering facilities (534.8 million tenge), residential buildings (337.9 million tenge) and industrial buildings (324 million tenge), Kazakh media outlets reported.
In January-November 2017, construction of 28,731 new buildings, including 26,157 residential buildings and 2,574 non-residential buildings was completed in Kazakhstan.
