Construction materials worth 509.7 million manats were produced in Azerbaijan in January-November 2017, which is by 29.8 percent more than in January-November 2016, according to the country’s State Statistics Committee.
Cement production increased by 24.8 percent to 2.66 million tons, production of building gypsum decreased by 40.8 percent to 83,300 tons, production of ready-mixed concrete grew 75.4 percent up to 678,300 tons, and production of prefabricated concrete structures grew 1.7 times to 141,200 cubic meters.
The production of processed marble, travertine, alabaster and its items grew 3.2 times to 22,110 tons.
