Kazakhstan and Russia have agreed on the joint production of Kirovets tractors, special equipment and KAMAZ automotive components, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development.
During the visit of Prime Minister Askar Mamin to Russia, today, on Apr. 26, 2 documents were signed: the Road Map for the implementation of the project “Organization of production of Kirovets tractors and their parts at Agromashholding KZ JSC" and the Agreement on cooperation in implementing joint projects on manufacturing special equipment and spare parts for KAMAZ vehicles.
As the Vice-Minister Amaniyaz Yerzhanov noted, the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development will support and create favorable conditions for investing in production in Kazakhstan through concessional financing as part of state programs. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will support the export of spare parts.
Representatives of KAMAZ PJSC also said that the range of trucks is planned to be expanded due to the production of special vehicles and passenger transport models in Kazakhstan for the domestic market of the country, for sale in export markets, for localization of automotive components production in Kazakhstan and the development of export of spare parts.
The Kazakh BRK-Leasing, will provide leasing financing of up to 70 percent for the purchase of fixed assets of Tobolkz or another joint venture created with the participation of KAMAZ capital, if in case of providing prepayment of up to 30 percent of the cost of equipment and construction and installation, and leasing financing for persons purchasing manufactured products.
The roadmap for the implementation of the project “Organization of production of Kirovets tractors and their components at Agromashholding KZ, JSC provides for the provision of tax preferences, concessional financing (including leasing financing), and also preferential leasing financing of finished products, 30 percent return on investment in equipment and construction and installation work through an investment subsidy.
K-700 “Kirovets” is a Soviet wheel tractor of general use with increased cross-country capacity, traction class is 5. It is intended for agricultural, transport, road-building, land-reclamation, earth-moving and other works in the unit with mounted, semi-mounted and trailed wide-grip machines.
