Trade turnover increases in Kazakhstan

Ruslan Dalenov, the minister of the national economy of Kazakhstan disclosed the volume of foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan in 1Q2019, Trend reports via press office of the ministry.

“In the period January-March 2019 the foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan amounted to $20.4 billion. The volume of export reached $13.3 billion. The increase of the export, excluding the export of oil and metals reached 19.8 percent,” said Ruslan Dalenov.

“Furthermore, the increase in service sector is also observed. Currently is has reached 4.2 percent currently, compared to 3.7 percent in 1Q2019. Thus, the dynamics increase can be observed in almost every sphere of economy,” he said.

“Trade is the leader of the segment by growth. Its increase has reached 7.3 percent. This is mainly due to the increase in sale of vehicles, car parts, petroleum products, as well as of petrol, oil and lubricants,” the report said.

Ruslan Dalenov also reported on the 4.8 percent increase of growth of the transport sphere. Furthermore, the cargo turnover of the air transport and of the road transport has increased by 1.9 percent and 9.7 percent respectively.
