According to experts, more than 90 percent of the West Azerbaijan province economy is dependent on banking resources, and banks are required to support investors, Deputy Governor of West Azerbaijan for Economic Affairs Behnam Shahdi said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Shahdi said that the policy of reducing economic dependence of the province on bank resources should be adopted.
"Continuous and serious efforts to solve the production barriers will lead to the return of stagnant production units to the production cycle," Shahdi said.
Shahdi argued that managers of provincial banks should support and promote active and semi-active manufacturing units, and help set up industrial units with new technologies.
