Initiation or operation of 18 water and power industry projects worth a total of 9.5 trillion rials (about $227 million) has kicked off in Iran’s Razavi Khorasan province, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Ministry of Energy.
The initiation of Imam Reza GIS 400 kilowatt electricity post project has begun, with an estimated investment of 1.9 trillion rials (about $45.2 million).
The operation of Zakariyya 400 kilowatt electricity post project has started, and 1.9 trillion rials (about $45.2 million) were invested in the project.
The ministry added that other projects will be related to water and sewer systems.
Iran’s Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian is taking part in the events dedicated to launching or groundbreaking ceremonies of the projects.
It was decided to commission 227 projects in the water and electricity sectors with investment worth 330 trillion rials (about $7.8 billion) in 31 provinces in the second half of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019).
