The inflow of funds to Georgia increased significantly in the period from 2 to 8 November compared to the previous week and returned to positive growth rates, Trend reports via the TBC Capital.
In annual terms (i.e. compared to November 2-8, 2019), the growth was +5 percent.
Inflows from Azerbaijan and Ukraine continue to show the strongest growth.
The growth of remittances from Azerbaijan is in a triple range.
Inflow from North America maintains high growth rates.The growth rate of inflows from Russia is still negative and amounted to minus 28 percent year-on-year.
The growth rates of inflows from the Middle East (including Turkey) in the period from November 2 to 8 are in a positive range.
Inflows from the EU and the UK maintain positive growth rates.
