The volume of bananas imported to Uzbekistan from Ecuador from January through November 2020 in physical terms amounted to 29,800 tons, Trend reports referring to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Then import of Ecuador bananas to Uzbekistan decreased by 3,400 tons compared to the same reported period in 2019.
The second place in the list of main bananas imports to Uzbekistan is taken by Russia with 625 tons. It is followed by Kazakhstan with 548 tons of imported bananas.
The export of bananas from China and Kyrgyzstan for 11M2020 is almost two times less, amounting to 231 and 235 tons.
According to the information the total physical volume of bananas imported to Uzbekistan as of December 1 amounted to 31,900 tons.
It was noted that 5,400 tons of bananas were imported to Uzbekistan in November this year.
