Share of domestic exports in total exports of Georgia constituted 72 percent and amounted to $2.40 billion in 2020, 3.5 percent higher year-on-year, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office reports (Geostat).

Domestic exports include export of goods produced in the country, as well as imported from abroad, the value of which has significantly changed as a result of domestic processing.

In 2020, the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled $3.34 billion, 12 percent lower year-on-year.

In the reporting period the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 78.6 percent. The top partners were China ($459.4 million), Russia ($401.2 million) and Bulgaria ($310.4 million).

In 2020, copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling $729.4 million, or 30.3 percent of total exports.

The exports of ferro-alloys totaled $246.8 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 10.3 percent. The exports of wine of fresh grapes occupied the third place standing at $209 million and constituting 8.7 percent of total exports.
