Iranian government voices remaining plans on its agenda

TEHRAN, Iran, Mar.30

Trend:

Iranian government is to implement five plans until the end of its ruling term (ends July 2021) in the current Iranian year (started March 21,2021), said Iranian Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei, Trend reports via IRNA.

He said the government's agenda includes completing infrastructure projects, supporting health sector and market stability and holding the presidential election.

"We are determined not to allow sanctions to interrupt Iran's development and interaction with the world," said Rabiei.

"We will continue to address the violators of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. Any delay in lifting sanctions would be the first and the last effort to revive the JCPOA," he said.

"The US government would not have any other way, but to return to the JCPOA and lift the sanctions," Rabiei said.

"The other plan of the government is to focus on health sector. In this regard more than 20 million COVID-19 vaccines have been purchased and the efforts continue to yield acceptable results as far as domestic production of the vaccine is concerned," Rabiei noted.

"Preventing the coronavirus spread and public vaccination are the plans of the government until the very last day of its ruling term," said the top official.
