Sales of Iranian mining companies grow

The sales of Iranian mining companies increased by 105 percent during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), compared to the same period preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020), Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

According to the statistics, the sales of 74 mining companies at the Iranian Stock Exchange amounted to 3.22 quadrillion rials (about $76.6 billion) over last Iranian year.

“The value of the Mobarakeh Steel Company's sales amounted to 774 trillion rials (about $18.4 billion) and there was a 98-percent increase compared to the preceding Iranian year,” the statistics said.

Moreover, the value of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) sales amounted to 419 trillion rials (about $9.97 billion) last Iranian year, which is an increase of 87 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, the sales of Khouzestan Steel Company were worth 306 trillion rials (about $7.28 billion) over the last Iranian year. This is an increase of 93 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.

“So, the sales of 74 mining companies on the Iranian Stock Exchange accounted for 34 percent of total sales at the exchange,” the statistics said.
