Iranian president Hassan Rouhani has inaugurated four infrastructure projects at Chabahar Free Zone that would create 675 new jobs, said the Managing Director of Chabahar Free Zone Organization Abdolrahim Kordi, Trend reports via IRNA.
"There has been good policy making in petrochemical, steel, logistics and transportation fields in Chabahar free zone, to increase private sector's investment," Kordi said.
He mentioned the Mokran Petrochemical Complex, which is being built, backed by a $25-million investment. Also, 3 petrochemical complexes are being constructed with a €3.6-million investment, which are to be launched in the middle of 2022.
There are 22 infrastructure projects that are currently underway in Chabahar, while more than 150 small and big investment plans are being realized.
