Azerbaijan undertakes measures to improve quality of e-procurement services

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Measures are being taken in Azerbaijan to improve the quality of e-procurement services, Deputy Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Oversight and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Jafar Babayev said, Trend reports.

He made the remark during the meeting of the working group on commodity market efficiency and competition of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings held in Baku.

“Measures are being taken in Azerbaijan to improve the quality of e-procurement services. Within this framework, it is planned to publish information on contracts on the e-procurement portal in a format accessible for system reading. Information on suppliers and subcontractors on tenders will also be published, as well as specifications, standards, and criteria for environmentally friendly products on the e-procurement portal,” he said.
