The preparatory stage of the work under the Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalaki railway route, Trend reports in reference to Turkish media. In the near future it is planned to set up direct work over the construction of groundwork.
In the near future the Energy Ministers of Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan will meet to discuss the details of the project. After taking a decision on the commencement of the construction pg the route, it is planned to achieve agreements on the models of financing the construction.
In this stage Ankara will appeal to one of the international financial organization to receive credits. The Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalaki project envisages both rehabilitation of the existing groundwork and construction of new area.
