The Agriculture Ministry holds negotiations on the next stage of the project on development and crediting of agriculture, Ismat Abasov, the Agriculture Minister, said to journalists on Monday, Trend reports.
According to Abasov, the total value of the project is estimated at $100m. $23m was allocated for the first stage, while the rest part would be used within the second and third stages.
The sides are currently holding talks on determination of the final sum of the second stage of the project. But in accordance with our estimations, around 60% of the sum may be used in the framework of the project, the Minister underlined.
Abasov noted that the implementation of the second stage would start soon.
The agreement on the project, undersigned in 1999, is executed in the cooperation with the World Bank (WB).
The project envisages registration of immovable property of farmers, establishment of regional departments on registration of lands and crediting of farms.
