The specialist of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will arrive in Baku on 6 April within the struggle with bird flu, the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry told Trend.
The epidemiologist will stay in Azerbaijan till September 2006 and render assistance to the State Veterinary Service under the Agriculture Ministry in the preparation of the action plan and development of the working strategy within the struggle with bird flu.
Earlier the specialist of FAO visited Azerbaijan to assist to the State Veterinary Service in increase of the work experience with modern laboratory equipment.
