forecasts by the Ministry, the volume of cargo deliveries will be increased 10% against the last year.
Last year a total of 26.2 million tons of different cargo was transported by rail last year. 73.7% of the total falls on oil and oil products, 19.4% - construction materials and the rest sodium, metals, etc.
At present definite measures are taken to provide for the delivery of increased volumes of cargo. In particular, it is planned to acquire and refurbish the locomotive park of railway.
