EBARA experts started discussions with Azeri government

For the preparation of the technical-economical assessment within the construction of the dust-processing plant and studying the position of Azerbaijan government in relation with this, the mission of Japanese EBARA arrived in Baku on July 31, Trend reports with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

The specialists of the company are indenting to concretize what the Azerbaijani government tries to do in this sphere. Besides, they will hold meeting at the Economic Development Ministry and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

During the previous visit to Azerbaijan, the EBARA specialists held investigations in dumps in Balakhani and negatively assessed the situation. They expressed their readiness to hold a detailed investigation within the realization of the project. The priorities for the government in building a dust-processing plant are to get electric power, mineral fertilizer and construction materials.

The cost of the project was estimated at 350 mln euros, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development offers to disburse 50 mln euros.
