The Azerbaijan Chamber of Accounts has confirmed the 2007Action Plan, a source at the Chamber informed Trend today. The plan has been approved at the sitting of the Chamber held on 28 December, 2006. It includes control audit measures to be taken in different directions.
The exact number and list of measures to be taken are expected to be made public in the near future, admitted the source in the State Agency.
Last year, the Chamber's Action Plan included an audit of the State Budget. It was carried out in accordance with the Bill of Azerbaijan Republic On Budget System of the State Social Protection Fund, State Oil Fund (SOFAZ), Budget of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Financial-Budget Expert Examination of the Municipalities, etc.
On the whole, the Chamber's Working Plan 2006 included 86 control actions, including 39 audit control ones.
