Long-Term Program on Social-Economical Co-operation between Azerbaijan and Belarus to Come into Force after Exchange of Notes

The Program between Azerbaijan and Belarus on long-term social-economical co-operation till 2015, which was signed on October 17 2006 in Minsk, will come into force in the nearest future.

There should be an exchange of notes between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries, Trend reports with reference to the Cabinet of Minister of Azerbaijan.

The Head of Belarus confirmed this program this week. It has been directed towards the development of the mutually beneficial relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan in the economical, commercial, humanitarian and social spheres. Realizing the long term program will strengthen the high level of the relations between the two countries and give an impulse to the constructive development of the long-term bilateral co-operation.

Azerbaijan has the same programs with Russia till 2010 and Ukraine till 2009. Azerbaijan works out the directions of the long-term co-operation with the countries in which it has special strategic interests, the same source said.
