Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova/ The Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan prepares to submit the law draft "On amendments and annexes to 2007 State Budget" to the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, a source at the Finance Ministry informed. Approximately the budget will be amended at 6% and forecast indictors for the revenue part of the State budget are planned to be increased by AZN 300 mln. The incomes of 2007 State budget had been confirmed in amount of AZN 5 bln 335.7 mln and expenditures - AZN 5 bln 714.7 mln and deficit - AZN 379 mln or 1.7% of GDP.
The necessity to make amendments to the budget forecasts appeared due to the decision of Tariff Council of Azerbaijan on increasing the prices for the energy resources and communal services because the Government has included in the State budget the expenditures on subsiding agriculture (AZN 80 mln) and increasing pensions and salaries and State addressed social aid.
The amendments and annexes to 2007 State Budget are expected to be confirmed together with the law "On implementation of 2006 State budget" in May and come into force in the second half year.
