Construction of New Gas Pipeline in Azerbaijan’s Region Begins

Azerbaijan, Lankaran, 1 March / Trend c corr P. Aliyeva/ An auxiliary gas line with a length of 3,500m and a cost of AZN 140,000 began in the Masalli region of Azerbaijan.

According to the head of the Masalli Gas Administration Elkhan Mammadov, the gas pipeline will improve gas supply to 1,800 subscribers. The construction is expected to be complete within two months.

Masalli, which is located 250km south of Baku, has some 16,000 subscribers, 6,500 of them supplied with gas. Gas is not supplied to 28 villages out of 71 in Masalli.
