Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 April / Trend / From Jan-March, the Azerenerji joint stock company (JSC) transferred AZN 26.7mln to the public budget, which is 1.5 times more than the same period of 2007, Azerenerji reported. In March, Azerenerji's budget payments totalled AZN 9.5mln, which is 1.6 times more than in March 2007.
Rise in the budget payments was driven by the increase in electric power wholesale cost at the beginning of January because of the setup of power meters and increase in the collection of charges for supplied power from the subscribers.
