Trend E.Ismayilov / The State Department of Gas Supervision at the Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Ministry is developing a new document to toughen administrative penalties on violation of natural gas consumption rules for juridical persons, Asif Zeynalov, the head of the State Department of Gas Supervision, said.
"The new article envisages the increase of administrative fines," Zeynalov said.
At present amount of administrative fines (for gas theft) fluctuates between AZN 44 and 300 (AZN 44 for individuals). Minimum fines for juridical persons begin from AZN 100, Zeynalov said. All administrative fines are collected and transferred to the state budget.
