Azerbaijan invested around $3 billion in Georgia’s economy for last years: President Ilham Aliyev

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 29/ Trend , A. Badalova/ Azerbaijani companies have invested around $3 billion in Georgia's economy for the last few years, CNN Turk quoted President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as saying in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (Socar) has a subsidiary in Georgia - Socar Georgia. The company is the large investor and tax payer in Georgia," Ilham Aliyev said. 

"This is a good sing of close relations between our two countries. We should continue this positive trend," Aliyev said.

World Economic Forum (WEF), well-known as Davos forum, is large international non-governmental organization based in Geneva. The WEF chief aim is to improve global situation by assisting world community to address problems of economic development and social progress.
