In January and February, the Shamkir hydroelectric power station cascade produced over 215 million kWh of electricity compared to the projected 196 million kWh, the Azerenerji reported.
In February, the cascade produced 132 million kWh of electricity.
The cascade is composed of the Shamkir and Yenikand hydroelectric power stations.
In January and February, the Shamkir hydroelectric power station produced over 159 million kWh of electricity compared to the expected 148 million kWh. The Yenikand station generated 56 million kWh of electricity in that period compared to the projected 48 million kWh.
