Aktau trade port decreases transportation of oil-loading freights

Aktau international sea trade port transported roughly 8.4 million tons of oil-loading freights in January-September compared to roughly 7.5 million tons in January-August, sea trade port said.

Aktau international sea trade port transported 899,500 tons of oil-loading freights in September compared to over one million tons in August.

Roughly 1.8 million tons of dry freights were transported in January-September compared to 1.6 million tons in January-August.

Total volume of Aktau international sea trade port's transportation hit 10.2 million tons of dry and oil-loading freights in January-September. This index hit 1.1 million tons in September.

Roughly 1,521 ships operated in Aktau port during January-September.

Presently, there are six international sea ports - Baku (Azerbaijan), Astrakhan (Russia), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Anzali and Neka (Iran) in the Caspian Sea.
