Turkmenbashi refinery commissions catalytic cracking

The Turkmenbashi refinery has fully commissioned millisecond catalytic cracking (MSCC) after a routine service works.

The Turkmen Oil and Gas Industry Ministry reported that MSCC was commissioned in 2001. The project was implemented by Technip (France) in conjunction with the National Iranian Oil engineering and construction company. The total cost of installation is $ 260 million.

This is the second installation that was commissioned at the plant during the large-scale reconstruction. With the commissioning of plants for the production of gasoline - a catalytic reforming (CCR) and millisecond catalytic cracking (MSCC), production of gasoline at this refinery has increased by more than 2 times and reached 1.5 million tons per year.
