Brazilian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Frederico S. Duque Estrada Meyer plans to hold talks with the Turkmen Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ministry March 25, the Turkmen Dovlet Khabarlary state news agency reported. A Brazilian delegation recently held a series of meetings in parliament, and with the foreign, agriculture and water resources ministries.
The sides noted "the progressive nature of substantially increasing cooperation ... including in the framework of dynamic dialogue between Turkmenistan and Latin American countries."
Representatives of the two countries reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening "the full traditional interaction, positioning greater opportunities and prospects, despite the geographical distance between the two countries."
Today, the ambassador is expected to discuss a number of issues at the Construction Materials Industry Ministry and the State Tourism and Sports Committee, as well as at the Turkmhavayolari (Turkmen Airways) civil service.
