Minister: Bulgaria ready to take part in oil and gas terminal construction in Supsa

Bulgaria is ready to take part in the construction of an oil and gas terminal in the Supsa port and the expansion of the port in Poti, Bulgaria's Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traycho Traykov said during the Georgian-Bulgarian Business Forum in Batumi on Wednesday.

Bulgaria is ready to take part in the construction of an oil and gas terminal in the Supsa port and the expansion of the port in Poti, Bulgaria's Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traycho Traykov said during the Georgian-Bulgarian Business Forum in Batumi on Wednesday.

The business forum was attended by representatives of 15 leading Bulgarian companies. The Bulgarian delegation was led by Traykov, while the Georgian side was represented by Finance Minister Dmitry Gvindadze.

Bulgarian companies are also ready to invest and take an active part in the construction of hotel complexes on the Black Sea coast of Georgia and mountain resorts of the country.

"The Bulgarian companies have vast experience in the construction of tourist facilities. Our specialists are also ready to provide expert assistance to Georgia in its power system's connection to the European power grid ENTSO-E," Traykov said.
