Over 66 billion cubic meters of gas and 10.2 million cubic meters of condensates were produced by Iranian refineries in the first half of its current calendar year (ended on September 22), an official of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) stated.
Pana news agency quoted Hossein Jamshidi-Dana as saying that over 403,000 tons of sulfur, 644,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and 494,000 tons of ethane were also produced in the mentioned period of time.
The NIGC's managing director, Javad Oji, had previously said that taking the Turkmen gas imports into account, the domestic refineries have the capacity of producing up to 600 million cubic meters of gas per day.
