The Environment Department of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) conducts Eco monitoring at sea field Bulla Deniz, SOCAR said on Saturday.
Bulla Deniz field is on the balance of oil and gas department of SOCAR named after N. Narimanov.
According to the report, the work was carried out from MRK-452 vessel. Samples of seawater, zooplankton, phytoplankton and marine sediments were collected during the monitoring of 17 selected stations.
Physical-chemical characteristics of the aquatic environment was also studied during the monitoring the direction and speed of the currents were determined and weather studies on the territory were conducted.
