Turkey increases oil imports by six per cent per year

Oil imports to Turkey in November 2012 reduced by three per cent compared to the previous month, reaching 1.70 million tons, the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's report said today.

Oil imports in January-November 2012 rose by six per cent compared to the same period in 2011, amounting to 17.9 million tons.

Diesel fuel supplies increased in November by 6.5 per cent to 735,000 tons, while imports increased by 5.7 per cent up to 7.09 million tons for 11 months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2012.

Petrol exports from Turkey in November 2012 reduced by 15 per cent to 231,000 tons. Aviation fuel export fell by 9.5 per cent to 257,000 tons and the ship's fuel supply increased by 21.5 per cent to 150,000 tons.

Petrol exports increased by 7.4 per cent reaching 2.4 million tons from January to November 2012 compared to the same period in 2011, aviation fuel by 18.3 per cent to 2.4 million tons and ship's fuel by 50.5 per cent to 1.9 million tons.
