Wind farm will be built in Kargalinsk district of Kazakh Aktobe region, Kazinform reported with the reference to the region's head Arkhimed Mukhambetov.
According to Mukhambetov, Synergy Astana company is developing a feasibility study of the project. The wind farm capacity will hit 48 MW, with further expansion up to 98 MW. There are plans to attract Russian investment for the project realization.
"We attracted a company which has experience in Russia. Its head, who is an ethnic Kazakh, was awarded a title of best entrepreneur in Russia in 2012. Currently he is developing a feasibility study," Mukhambetov says the mayor.
