The Black Sea Kulevi oil terminal of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Georgia has transshipped 20.285 million tons of oil cargo and chemical products since the start of the operation on May 16, 2008, said the message from the Kulevi oil terminal May 17.
"The terminal will continue the work on increasing the volume of transshipment," said the message.
SOCAR's Kulevi terminal was commissioned in 2008. Its capacity is 10 million tons of oil cargo per year. The capacity of the terminal's tank farm is 320,000 cubic meters.
Earlier, a source in SOCAR told Trend that the company will expand the terminal's capacity from the current 320,000 cubic meters to 380,000 cubic meters.
