Oil output down in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan’s oil production decreased in January-Nov. 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, the Kazakh Statistics Committee said.
During the period, oil and gas condensate production decreased by 2.4 percent to 70.81 million tons (59.52 tons of oil and 11.28 tons of gas condensate).
Oil production decreased by 1.9 percent and gas condensate production fell by 4.2 percent in the period.
Gas production increased by 1.6 percent– to 42.05 billion cubic meters in January-Nov. 2016.
Associated gas production amounted to 22.49 billion cubic meters, which is 3.9 percent more than in the same period of 2015.
Meanwhile in November 2016 oil and gas condensate production hit 6.94 million tons compared to 6.79 million tons in November 2015. Gas production in November 2016 increased to 4.31 million cubic meters compared to 3.95 million cubic meters in November 2015.
Kazakhstan’s oil and condensate output totaled 79.46 million tons in 2015, which is 1.7 percent less than in 2014. Gas production increased by 5.2 percent – to 45.713 billion cubic meters in the country in 2015.
